Handbag Friendly Winter Creams!

As the weather cools down, the gloves come out and the bobble hat becomes every more appealing. So today I've brought out the big guns, for your day to day cream needs. Everything mentioned is tried and tested to relieve your skin on the go as well as being handbag friendly!

The worse case of dry skin in the winter for me is my lips. Oh my goodness, what is wrong with them. I used to find myself patting Vaseline on them in pain trying to fix broken skin. But them I came across the Blistex Relief Cream. It's tacky texture bonds to your lips and sinks into them like a dream. You only have to apply this maybe three times to have baby soft lips, and for me that is incredible. Another lip saviour, well everything saviour to be honest is the infamous Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. The smell is unique to say the least, but once you get past it this will be your best friend. Elbows, hands, cuticles, lips, face, knees, you name it this can do it. It's rather pricey but one full size tube will last you the whole year, so why not invest?

Onto more body specific, I need nothing more than a great moisturiser. For the face I use the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Daily Moisturiser. With the power of the classic itself but in a facial friendly form. This is incredibly rich as I only use it when my skin is dry to avoid any breakouts. Perfect for Christmas time. For long days outside this is a complete god send and eliminates any excuse for the chill to do any harm. Late night shopping must have! I also find myself using this on days in to give my skin some love whilst I'm watching a film. (Hot chocolate is optional) For the body I like to use something that I can chuck on my arms or anything else when I'm on the go. My current favourite is the REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Cream. I've even been known to give my arms a good moisturise when I'm on the tube. Needs to be done, especially if your going to survive Selfridges. Think you can keep your jumpers on in there? Think again, and nothing is worse than dry skin exposed. Another secret tip, for late night parties put some in a pot, throw this in your clutch for supple legs all night! Just top up in the bathroom.

What creams do you love using in the winter? What do you take with you on the go?
