If you're following me on social media, then you will know that not too long ago I was up at 9AM ready and waiting to get my hands on the limited edition NARS Glossybox. As you can see I succeeded and oh boy was it worth it. The box itself is matte black like the NARS packaging, which I thought was a great touch, and housed five cult and bestselling products.

Audacious Mascara

I'm pretty happy with my lashes, but this wand takes them to a whole new level. It has a mixture of short and long bristles that taper, and little hooks that work to lift and curl your lashes. I've used this every single day since getting it and have received tonnes of compliments. Some people even thought I was wearing falsies! One thing I will mention is that it can get a bit messy, the long bristles sometimes catch the side of my eyes so I always have a cotton bud to hand.

Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via Veneto

This was something I didn't think I needed as I don't normally wear eyeliner. But I was wrong, so very wrong. I quickly lined the top of my lashes one morning, and it was there in tact before I went to bed. It has a creamy formula and glides onto the lid with such ease and remains jet back throughout the day. The end also pops off to reveal a little sharper, perfect for keeping a point. Such a fantastic packaging idea.

The Multiple in Orgasm

I'm not the biggest fan of cream blushers, but this is so versatile. I find that swiping it along the top half of the cheeks leaves a pinky glow that acts as a highlight and popping this directly onto the apples of the cheeks and blended out will leave a natural-looking blush. I would recommend warming this up on the back of your hand before using and then blend with a beauty blender.

Blush in Orgasm

I already own this shade but I can't wait to take this mini on my travels. It's the ultimate natural-flush shade that lights up my face even open the darkest of days. I fell in love with this a couple of years ago and always turn back to it. If you are looking to try one product then this would be it!

Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien

This was one of the main reasons I wanted to get my hands on this box. This dusty rose shade is perfect for autumn and would suit all skin tones. The formula is super creamy and wears down to a gorgeous stain on the lips. I have yet to finish a lipstick or crayon but I feel like I'll be replacing it very soon. Just can't get enough!

The great thing about this box is that there are no duds. Not one product was a let down for me, I love using every single one. This was such a great way of testing out products before purchasing full sizes. I haven't been as interested in NARS over the past year, so this has been the perfect opportunity to immerse myself in the brand, and it's new products.

Was it worth me peaking out the window every time I heard a noise outside? Yes. Was it worth the hype? Definitely!

Did you get your hands on the NARS Glossybox? What's your favourite NARS product?
